Once a year, Reunion Latina provides us with the opportunity to bring all of our experiences together in one powerful forum. The workshops, trainings and panel discussions highlight critical issues and provide an space to brainstorm solutions. Attendees to Reunion Latina Training Institute are committed to continue working to break the cycle of indifference and stigma in some of our nation’s most affected communities.
This year, topics will include: Disease Integration, Changes on Medicaid, Health Disparities, Community Mobilization, New developments in the field of treatment and prevention, sharing successful education models, addressing the needs of the most affected populations, among others.

Process Objectives
• Strategize how to best meet the unique and diverse needs of Latino/Hispanic communities in a rapidly changing HIV/AIDS crisis;
• Provide with the opportunity to talk about different health conditions affecting the Latino/Hispanic Community;
• Secure full participation, at all levels, of Latinos & Latinas living with HIV or AIDS;
• Enhance the skills of persons providing HIV/AIDS prevention/education and other services to the Latino communities.
