Overview

Manos Unidas at the Latino Commission on AIDS (LCOA) works to enhance the effectiveness of HIV prevention interventions that target Latino communities (both HIV positive and HIV negative) who are at high risk for contracting and /or transmitting HIV and other STDs through sex and drug-related activities. Manos Unidas assists CDC-funded and non-funded community based organizations in specifically targeting its services to such vulnerable populations as well as among pregnant women (especially those with drug use histories, present use or drug using partners), men who partner with men, HIV positive individuals and their partners, and people who are at high risk for HIV injection, but do not know their HIV status.

Tell us what types of challenging participants you face in your group sessions so that we can address that in our trainings. Furthermore, we would like to know which DEBIs you would like to have overviews on. Write to us at latinocba@latinoaids.org with your coment!!
