 Misión
- Crear un espacio seguro donde Latinos/as
viviendo con el VIH puedan dialogar sobre los temas
que afectan sus vidas y sus comunidades.
- Desarrollar liderazgo a través
de la educación y el adestramiento para que
Latinas/os viviendo con el VIH puedan abogar por si
mismas/as y por otros/as.
- Tomar acción colectivamente
para cambiar política gubernamental que afecta
a la comunidad Latina que vive con VIH/SIDA a los
niveles municipal, estatal y organizacional.
Si usted es una persona Latina viviendo con el VIH/SIDA
quiero extenderle una invitación cordial a ser
parte de Poder Latino, para que nosotros/as como Latinos/as
viviendo con este virus tengamos el poder para hacer
cambios a los niveles municipal, estatal y organizacional.
Nos reunimos cada mes para crear estrategias y escuchar
de nuestros/as oradores/as invitados/as. En nuestras
reuniones identificamos las necesidades, temas y problemas
de prioridad y planificamos visitas para educar a las
personas encargadas de establecer políticas.

Mission
- To create a safe place where
Latinos infected with the HIV virus can talk about
the issues that affect their lives and communities.
- To develop leadership via
education and training for Latinos living with HIV
and to advocate on their own behalf and for others.
- To take collective action
to educate, city and organizational officials on policies
which affect the Latino People with HIV/AIDS Community.
If you are Latino living with HIV/AIDS, we want to
extend an invitation to you to be part of Poder Latino,
so we as Latinos/as living with this virus can have
the power to make changes at the state, city and organizational
level. We meet every month to strategize and hear from
invited guests. At our meetings we identify priority
need, problems and issue and plan visit to educate policy-makers.
