Web based virtual institute that provides easy access to knowledge in health education and capacity building to improve the skills set of the HIV workforce. The live seminars allow participants to interact with presenters as if it they were face-to-face, while saving time and cost for travel.

VIRTUAL INSTITUTE. REAL AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

The institute focuses in CDC's priorized focus areas such: increase knowledge of HIV status, prevent new HIV infections, and reduce transmission of HIV (HIV prevention education and risk education.

CBOS'S AND HEALTH DEPARTMENTS

The training targets staff that works for community based organization and health departments at a national level (staff that work with individuals at risk for HIV, peer educators and community outreach workers, etc.)

LEARNING FROM THE BESTS

Institutes will be taught by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with backgrounds in health education, capacity building, marketing, etc.

TOPICS THAT RESPOND YOUR NEEDS

The institutes will cover topics that have been identified as key element to improve the performance of the HIV prevention workforce. Topics are constantly being evaluated.

ALL YOU NEED IS COMMITMENT AND A COMPUTER

The institute is streamed live in HD-video and audio, and it requires a fast internet connection, and external or built-in microphone.







These seminars aim to share information quickly by engaging participants to think critically about topics relevant to current HIV prevention and treatment issues in their area.
